Budget analysts review budgets, apportionments requests, and reprogramming, including technical and financial evaluation, formulation, justification, and execution. They conduct meetings and discussions with key officials of the Military Departments to determine the importance and soundness of program budget estimates and financial plans. Additionally, they recommend changes in policies or procedures relative to military programs to ensure efficient and economical administration of funds.
