Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant III to join our dynamic team supporting an enterprise ATM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in functional and manual testing, regression planning and execution, and Agile delivery using Jira and a proven ability to design thorough test assets, execute on physical ATM hardware, and isolate, document, and communicate defects with clarity.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and document regression test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases/scripts for ATM application releases.
  • Execute manual tests on software, hardware, and firmware in a lab environment and record clear, reproducible results.
  • Troubleshoot issues, narrow root causes, and reduce defects to succinct, repeatable steps.
  • Install software builds, prepare and condition test data, and assess test environment constraints.
  • Document defects with due diligence and partner with teams to drive timely resolution.
  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and refine Epics, Stories, and bugs for testability and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform exploratory testing and support UAT or partner with business stakeholders for acceptance.
  • Work onsite in the test lab at least three days per week starting day one and handle ATM hardware safely and effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Functional and manual testing expertise for user interfaces with the ability to manipulate and prepare data.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools, notably Jira, for test management and defect tracking.
  • Strong analytical skills with clear written and verbal communication of issues and impacts.
  • Demonstrated independence, sound judgment, and timely decision-making to move work forward.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience testing software that interfaces with hardware or embedded firmware.
  • Background in ATM, payments, or retail banking applications.
